SA 120 Neg. Mixing Paddle
If you need specialised mixing paddles developed for use with thin materials, the SA120NEG mixing paddle is the perfect choice for you. It is part of the EXPERT collection, which is designed to be used for specific materials. If you are looking for an all-round mixing paddle that can be used for a range of materials, you should consider a mixing paddle from the SCREW collection instead.
The mixing paddle features a design that is twisted left, making this excellent for thin materials. The design of the mixing paddle is special as it allows for a more ergonomic working posture when mixing paddleing your materials, and the design is more efficient than that of a traditional mixing paddle. But what makes this mixing paddle so good for thin materials, and what are the features that make this design so special? Keep reading to find out.
How is the design of the SA120NEG. mixing paddle ergonomic and effective?
The SA120NEG. mixing paddle enables a more upright and ergonomic working posture as the mixing head features our special conical design. Furthermore, the 655 mm height of the mixing paddle contributes to a more upright working posture.
The conical design is expressed through a wide ring at the top of the mixing head and a smaller ring at the base, which is perfect for the slanted sides of a mixing bucket. When you have a more upright working position, you put less strain on your back.
Aside from the ergonomic benefits of the SA120NEG. mixing paddle, the conical design also ensures more efficient mixing, as the material is mixed 15-20% faster than it would be by a traditional mixing paddle. This is the case for all mixing paddles in the EXPERT and SCREW collections.
What makes the SA120NEG. mixing paddle suitable for thin materials?
The SA120NEG. mixing paddle is different from our other mixing paddles as it is angled downwards. This angling makes it perfect for thin materials like self-levelling putty, as the three vertical mixing blades on the mixing head pull the material downwards from the top. The estimated mixing capacity is 15-25 kg, so you can mix significant quantities. The mixing paddle provides a more efficient mixing of thin materials and makes it easier to keep the materials in the bucket.
Note that the mixing paddle is not suitable for thick materials. We would instead recommend our SA120, which is designed for thicker mixtures. Check out our mixing paddle wheel for more information and an overview of all our mixing paddles.
