Need a good all-round mixing paddle that is more efficient and easier on your back than a traditional mixing paddle? Then the GA120K mixing paddle from our SCREW collection is the perfect choice for you. The mixing paddle is intended for use with thick materials, but it can also be used to mix thin materials.
The hexagonal axle is perfect for mounting in a drill using a drill chuck. This makes the mixing paddle good for short mixing tasks, as it a drill offers a less ergonomic working posture than a stirrer.
What is special about the design of the GA120K mixing paddle?
Like the rest of the SCREW and EXPERT collections, the GA120K features a conical design. This conical shape means that the mixing head is wider at the top than at the base, creating a more efficient mix and enabling a more ergonomic working posture. As the mixing paddle is wider at the top, the mixing paddle is perfect for a mixing bucket with slanted sides, and you do not strain your back unnecessarily as you mix. The design makes it easier to reach the edges of the bucket for a more efficient mix—in fact, the mixing paddle makes the process 15-20% faster than with a traditional mixing paddle. The estimated mixing capacity is 15-25 kg.
For which materials is the GA120K mixing paddle suitable?
The GA120K can be used for thick and thin materials, making it an all-round mixing paddle. That said, it is ideal for thick materials like tile adhesive, plaster, and mortar, as the mixing paddle creates an upstream current that draws the material from the bottom and brings it upwards. When the material is mixing paddleed upwards, it can be difficult to keep a thin mixture in the mixing bucket. It is worth pointing out that the mixing paddle is suitable for mounting in a drill, thanks to the hexagonal axle. This reverses the direction, creating a downstream current, which is better suited for thin materials.
For thin materials like polish and paints, we recommend using our SA120 NEG, which is twisted left (hyperlink) or a mixing paddle from the FLOW or TWIN collections.
